You know your special woman has a love for the latest earrings but aren't sure how to narrow your search online? This blog will help you find the perfect gift for a good price that will have your girl feeling fancy and in fashion.
There are a few different factors to consider when choosing a pair of earrings as a gift. You want a pair that matches the occasion as well as compliments her style and physical features. In this blog, we are discussing the physical features.
Think about the following:
What’s her face shape?
Every face is beautifully unique, so the goal of jewelry is to elevate these different features. This means something different for everybody, but there are some common guidelines for what earring styles match with different face shapes. Listed below are the most common face shapes and the types of earrings that look best with them.
Heart:
Heart face shapes are widest at the forehead and have a pointed chin with high cheekbones. These faces are elevated by earrings that are thin at the top with a wide bottom as they encourage proportional harmony.

Round:
Those with round faces have a round forehead with a round jaw, and their face is about as long as it is wide. Long and slim earrings are recommended because they will visually lengthen the face for a balanced look. Drop earrings are also a good choice and will have the same effect.

Square:
Similar to round faces, people with square face shapes have their face equally as long as it is wide, but the sides are straighter and their foreheads and jaws appear more square. Square faces have very prominent lines and angles, so round or curved earrings do well to visually soften the face.

Diamond:
People with diamond face shapes have narrow foreheads, pointed chins, and high cheekbones. Similar to square face shapes, good earrings for diamond shapes will soften the angles of the face. Earrings with oval or drop shapes do this nicely.
Our round abalone drop earrings work as a perfect example.
Oval:
For people with oval face shapes, their face is longer than it is wide with the cheekbones being the widest part. The forehead is more narrow and around the same width as the jaw. Oval shapes are regarded as a blank canvas as many shapes compliment them. Pretty much any earrings would be welcome, but if you want to narrow your search, try finding some that will compliment the face’s high cheekbones.
Earrings that sit very close to the face like these pearl bow earrings accomplish this well.
